Leader2Leader Abroad is proud to partner with United Way South Africa to launch the HBCU Next Level Leader Cohort, an international leadership exchange for social impact leaders ages 21-30. Selected young leaders are invited to participate in a life-changing travel experience to South Africa. Apply today for consideration for a travel scholarship to attend an elite global leadership summit opportunity to serve alongside peers from around the world. Special consideration given to current HBCU students, HBCU alumni, social entrepreneurs, and international young leaders.

Social impact leaders are invited to complete an interest form to request travel scholarship assistance. Corporate sponsors will select a limited number of outstanding young leaders across industries, who will represent their organization at the 2026 global leadership summit in South Africa. This a competitive application process with final determination made by individual corporate sponsors.

Leader2Leader Abroad has a mission to help young leaders achieve their dreams. Our cross-cultural leadership cohort will provide young leaders assistance completing travel scholarship applications and quarterly virtual cohort engagement opportunities leading up to the global summit in November 2026 (Cape Town, South Africa).

Travel options include: 1) One Week Option to Cape Town 1-8, 2026 or 2) Two Week Option to Cape Town and Johannesburg 1-13, 2026 Applicants will only be eligible for one scholarship upon selection. Due to the high volume of interest, applicants are not guaranteed a travel scholarship award.
